What is the process of being recommended for a Standard certificate?
The Standard certificate is the final step after the program is fully completed and all certification exams (content and PPR) are passed. At 240 Certification, the following must be completed before 240 is able to make the recommendation: All coursework with a C or higher; passed all exams; completed a successful clinical experience (clinical teaching or internship) and have no outstanding balances on account. The candidate would also need to complete the Standard application in TEAL, pay application fees, and complete the fingerprinting process.
Once all of these steps have been completed and synced, then the Standard certificate would be issued.
