How can I receive my SOE?
Your Statement of Eligibility (SOE) documents you have completed all pre-service requirements as set by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and are eligible to begin your internship with the district of your choice. To receive your SOE you must have completed TEA’s 150-hour requirement. They include:
- ED 5100 - Introduction to Lesson Planning
- ED 5200 - Classroom Management
- FB 7100 - Observation Hours & Trainings
- TP Courses - Any certifications exams required
If you are considered a late hire, you must only complete your TP courses to be eligible for your SOE. Please review your status letter to determine your eligibility for late hire status.
